Effects of active labor market programs on the transition rate from unemployment into regular jobs in the Slovak Republic
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the effects of active labor market policies in the Slovak Republic. Administration data from 20 districts in the country were utilized to carry out the analysis. The influence of subsidized job creation strategies on unemployment at the individual level was also examined. Results indicated that activate labor market policies significantly benefit unemployed workers in the country.
