Environmental determinants of cost sharing
Article Abstract:
The choice of cost-sharing mechanisms that is arbitrary or systematically related to the physical environment of the agents involved in sharing costs is discussed. It is found that environmental factors affecting irrigation costs and benefits have impressive explanatory power.
