Executive incentive compensation schemes and their impact on corporate performance: evidence from New Zealand since compensation disclosure
Article Abstract:
Seventy-three New Zealand (NZ) listed companies were used to examine the relationship between executive incentive compensation schemes (ICS) and firm performance. The results suggested that neither compensation level nor adoption of an ICS were significantly related to returns to shareholders.

The relationship between markups, profits and entry in an open economy is focused. A general model of an imperfectly competitive small open economy is developed using a combination of the outputs of traded and non-traded sectors.

The effects of minimum wage legislation on the domestic tradable and inward foreign investment sectors are investigated. The finding indicates that there are asymmetrical effects on international debt and competitiveness.
