The evolution of corporate charitable contributions in the UK between 1989 and 1999: industry structure and stakeholder influences
Article Abstract:
The impact of changes in the industrial distribution on corporate charitable contributions and the incidence and distribution of these donations in socially and environmentally sensitive industries are described. These charitable contributions are highly concentrated and unequally located in a subset of industries that have major environmental and social impacts.
