Free labor for costly journals?
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the significant price difference between economics journals produced by commercial publishers and those produced by professional organizations and university presses are discussed. It is argued that high prices charged by commercial publishers are taking valuable funds away from universities and can also present scholarly information getting to university staff.
