Globalisation of the world's wine markets
Article Abstract:
The influence of globalization on world's wine markets over the years has increased significantly. The export volume has risen from 15 to 25 percent and in value terms is around 40 percent. The impact of globalization on wineries and the industry forecasts are discussed in relation to the stakeholders in the New World (North and South America, South Africa and Australia) and Old World producers in both Western and Eastern Europe.

Article Abstract:
The vital importance of human capital, and the increasing necessity of a technology-proficient population for economic competitiveness and growth, is examined. The reasons for the development of an international education market, the vehicles through which it is growing, and the implications for international trade and national strategy, are discussed.

Agri-environmental relationships and multi-functionality: further considerations

Multi-functionality of agriculture is strongly emphasized on the grounds of liberalization of the existing market. Issues concerning the employment of quasi-market systems to correct the market failures and deficiencies, and proper compensation to the supported farmers, are discussed.
