Impact of ownership and competition on the productivity of Chinese enterprises
Article Abstract:
Research into the impact of ownership and market competition on the productive efficiency and efficiency expansion of Chinese industrial companies is presented. It is suggested that the nonstate sector has a greater average level of productive efficiency than state-owned firms, with ownership being a more important determinant of efficiency than competition.

Explaining the growth of international R&D alliances in China
Article Abstract:
The effects of some important alliance factors such as location, nationality and nature of partners and alliance structure to study the rapid growth of international R&D alliances in China, are examined. The results show that these factors are strongly related to the formation of research-oriented alliances.
