Improving the base of rural construction

Article Abstract:

Russia's economy depends upon the stability of its agro-industrial complex. The current economic state of the agrarian sector is poor, gross product volume has dropped, agriculture in unprofitable, and agricultural enterprises are no longer able to acquire the resources needed to sustain or expand production activity, negatively effecting the construction sector. State programs are being implemented to assist agricultural enterprises with the purchasing of necessary resources and the facilitation of agriculturally-related rural construction.

Research presented concerns the income and savings of the Russian population, the overall size of savings and in what form the money is managed, and the distribution of savings among individual population groups. Topics addressed include the depressed, average, and wealthy population regions, their savings strategies, and models of saving behavior.

Estimating the scope of the supplemental employment of the population

Article Abstract:

Results of polls reveal discrepancies in the number of people in Russia who have supplemental employment, due to differences in the definition and meaning of supplemental employment and varying length of time over which the studies were conducted. The different polling techniques are discussed.
