Information pooling through majority-rule voting: Condorcet's jury theorem with correlated votes
Article Abstract:
Research is presented demonstrating the impact of majority-rule voting on the full-information outcome of an imperfectly informed group of people. Cordorcet's jury theorem is generalized to the correlated voting models of hypergeometic, normal and Polya distributions.
