Interest rates, collateral and (de-) interlinkage: a micro-study of rural credit in West Bengal

A study on the credit norms prevalent in rural West Bengal, India is presented. The study examines the issues like interest rates, collateral arrangements and interlinkage vis-a-vis the development of capitalism in agriculture.
