Major projects in Qatar: focus on North Gas Field
Article Abstract:
Qatar's harvesting of one of the world's greatest offshore natural gas sources, the North Gas Field, has increased its domestic natural gas supply and generated profitable foreign and domestic supply contracts. The Qatar General Petroleum Corp, the agency responsible for developing and marketing the natural gas, has initiated projects involving not only the natural gas industry, but methanol production, aluminum production, petrochemical and fertilizer production and gas conversion industries as well.
