Nonmajoritarian institutions and the limits of democratic governance: a political transaction-cost approach
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning the delegation of power to nonmajoritarian institutions in order to reduce political transaction costs. The relationship between independent delegate and political sovereign is discussed.
