On the determinants of foreign direct investment in transition economies
Article Abstract:
The benefits from foreign direct investments on the transition economies, i.e., countries that are undergoing transition from planned economy to market economy in post-socialist era, are discussed. The factors that are encourage or discourage foreign direct investments in such transition economies are examined.

Article Abstract:
A review of Moldova's economy after the disintegration of former Soviet Union in 1991 and formation of commonwealth of independent states is presented. The economic reforms that country should consider for its growth are discussed.
