Policy implications in an adaptive financial economy
Article Abstract:
The relationship between government policies and the discrete-time-flex-price production macroeconomy consisting of households with less-than-perfect economic information are examined. Specifically, a state-space model of the economic structure was developed for forecasting the subjective probability distribution. The latter is a measure of future uncertainty caused by fiscal, income tax and monetary policy shocks.
