Policy watch: Challenges for Terrorism Risk Insurance in the United States
Article Abstract:
The role of insurance in dealing with terrorism before and after September 11, 2001 is examined. The alternative terrorism insurance programs for the future are evaluated on the condition that U.S. Congress must soon decide on renewing the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) that was passed in November 2002.
