Polish mass privatisation scheme: the legal framework

The legal problems associated with mass privatization in Poland are discussed. The structure of national investment funds quoted on Stock Exchange of Warsaw, and the controversial roles of management firms in the period of this economic transition are analyzed.

Bulgaria's mass privatization scheme, which is intended to provide effective system for corporate governance of privatized companies is reviewed. An analysis of privatization funds' prospects for capital rise in order to meet the specified task is elaborated.
