Price uniformity and competition in a retail gasoline market
Article Abstract:
An econometric model for predicting price uniformity of retail gasoline in a competitive market is presented based on the data on gasoline prices from Vancouver, B.C. The model also reveals the tacit collusion involved in the pricing of gasoline.
