Prices and departures in European domestic aviation markets
Article Abstract:
The results of the study conducted to find the impact of different types of market viz. monopoly, duopoly and oligopoly on the air-fare and flight take off rate applying data provided by Swedish Civil Aviation Administration (Luftfartsverket, 2001) on 172 city-pair markets in eight European countries are mentioned. The procedures used in the study are described.
