Racial differences in transportation access to employment in Chicago and Los Angeles, 1980 and 1990
Article Abstract:
Statistics show that the commute time for African Americans was slightly higher than that for whites or hispanics in Los Angeles, California and even higher for African Americans in Chicago, Illinois. African Americans increased commute time is explained because they are more likely to use local transit.

Projecting the economic impact of the Internet
Article Abstract:
Despite failures of dot-com companies, the Internet will have an amazing impact on the economy in the future. That impact will not be so much from e-commerce, but from cost savings to companies who use networking through the internet or their own intranet.
