Robustness and real consequences of nominal wage rigidity
Article Abstract:
An analysis of nominal wage rigidity is presented. Under highly inflationary conditions, nominal wages become a necessity. However, when the inflation is low, any reduction in a robust nominal wage can increase unemployment.
