The fall by four points in January in the net percent of owners expecting the economy to be 'better' in six months is reported. Seventy percent of the people, who view the existing period as unfavorable for expansion, blamed economic prospects, 13 percent cited poor sales prospects, and one percent named financing issues while seven percent each cited the high cost of expansion and the political climate.
