Space, growth, and technology: an integrated dynamic approach
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to present an integrated approach regarding intertemporal choices and the location of economic activity under an endogenous growth model. Two optimal control problems which relate to a standard utility maximization set-up were considered in the study. Results show that the long-run steady state does not necessarily have to be a state of unchangeable geography.
