Stabilizing chaos in a dynamic macroeconomic model
Article Abstract:
New control methods were employed to assess the probability of stabilizing efficient steady states under a macroeconomic disequilibrium model. Such methods revealed that stabilization of an unstable Walrasian equilibrium remains possible within a short span of time through income tax rate or government expenditure variations. Prevention of irregular or cyclical behavior is achieved through stabilization of nonlinear dynamical systems
