The doctrine of market equality
Article Abstract:
The contention that Soviet-type socialism was in some sense a system of social justice is fundamentally mistaken, as such contentions fail to distinguish between equality of results and equality of opportunities. It is argued that the market is not the cause of injustice during transition, but it is the solution to the inherited and newly created problems of inequality.
