The economics of favors
Article Abstract:
The concept of owing or returning a favor is inaccurate. A study shows that most people perform favors not because of past actions but because of what they expect in the future. There is even a larger possibility for people to perform a favor without having received any favor. These findings belie the concept raised by anthropological and sociological studies that favors are performed to oblige recipients to give something in return.

Non-prisoner's dilemma
Article Abstract:
The prisoner's dilemma, which has been used for many years to test economic theories, brought about so many theoretical and experimental studies. It has been used for real purposes although most of the transactions do not actually involve prisoners. In the prisoner's dilemma experiments, participants are pre-selected by the experimenter, are not allowed to communicate and can not change partners.
