The effect of education on crime: evidence from prison inmates, arrests and self reports
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to examine the effects of education on children involved in criminal activities. After using census data and Federal Bureau of Investigation data, it is found that schooling reduces probability of criminal activities and arrest.

Public housing, housing vouchers and student achievement: evidence from public housing demolitions in Chicago

The effects of public housing demolitions in Chicago on children and students are examined. Children in households affected by these demolitions are compared to other children and a zero effect is obtained.
