The fallacy of composition and developing country exports of manufactures
Article Abstract:
The overturning effects of intra-industry trade and general equilibrium interactions on traditional perspectives on the fallacy of composition theory for manufactures exports have major implications for developing countries' economic policies. Developmental growth opportunities will apparently rise as more developing countries participate in policies based on a rapid increase in manufacturing es exports and open markets. This contradicts the predictions of composition theory.

Implications of China's Accession to the World Trade Organisation for China and the WTO
Article Abstract:
China's share of world trade was only 0.7% in 1986 which has grown since then to 3% and is projected to rise to 7% after accession to the World Trade Organization. This paper makes some forecasts on the implication, assessing them and the impacts on China and the World Trade Organization.
