The new institutionalisms: avenues of collaboration
Article Abstract:
Economic analysts tend to work together in institutions rather than as individuals. A comparison of institution types, rational-action neoinstitutionalism, social-constructionist neoinstitutionalism and mediated-conflict neoinstitutionalism, is made. Social and political scientists should work with economists to solve issues which cannot be solved from an individual viewpoint.
