The patterns and determinants of longevity in Russia's regions: evidence from panel data
Article Abstract:
A study on the longevity levels in Russia during 1990s is presented. The effect of changes in poverty levels and public health spending on the longevity in 77 Russian regions is examined from 1994 to 2000. The factors affecting longevity are also discussed.
