The philosophy of intransitive preference
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted in an attempt to develop normative arguments to analyze transitivity. The study focuses on assigning an ideal of rational agency for the topic. Results show that transitivity can be justified by normative arguments. This justification has made economists reconsider transitivity impact on economic theory. In addition, philosophical arguments which tend to disprove transitivity must likewise be considered.

A bias in the prediction of tastes
Article Abstract:
An analysis of consumer preferences is undertaken whereby the hypothesis showing the tendency of people to be attached to an object which was received but not desired previously is tested. Two tests are conducted and the results of these show that there is indeed such an attachment. However, people are not aware of strength of such an attachment and frequently underestimate the value of the object prior to receipt.
