The automotive parts and accessories sector of Turkey is expected to maintain its position as the country's second largest manufacturing export sector through 2009. The sector's growth is attributed to competition, investments, increased demand and exports. The increased production of new vehicles is seen as an evidence of the sector's growth along with the automotive industry. Suppliers' agents are also seen to play a key role in the sector's growth since they are involved in the marketing and sales of the industry.

Demand in the United Arab Emirates for switchgears, engines and switchgear motors has increased sharply as a result of commercial, residential and industrial growth. The Federal Ministry of Electricity and Water has been expanding its facilities, creating more demand for electrical power equipment. The import market for switchgear equipment is lead by the UK, which supplies 30%, with the US supplying 23% and Italy providing 19%.
