United They Stand Up to Syria
Article Abstract:
A conference in Geneva has united the factions of Lebanese leaders, temporarily. Two decisions were reached at the conference. Lebanon was defined as a true Arab country and the troop withdrawal agreement signed with Israel in May 1983 will be revised. Delegates at the conference are drawing up constitutional reforms for the new Lebanese nationhood status. The conference illustrated how a united Lebanon can stand up against Syria.
