Unraveling in guessing games: an experimental study
Article Abstract:
The structure of a particular game is found to be conducive for the investigation of whether and how the mental process of a player considers other players' conscious-reasoning behavior. In this game, a large number of players are required to concurrently state number from 0 to 100. The winner is the contestant with a chosen number that is closest to the product of the mean of all numbers stated and a parameter p, which is a commonly known predetermined positive parameter of the game. The game is played four times.

Gender and culture: international experimental evidence from trust games
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze gender differences in bargaining using the 'trust game' introduced by Joyce Berg, et al in 1995. The experimental design was characterized by an examination of culture, communication and social distance between players. Results indicated gender differences in proposer behavior and responding behavior. Findings also showed that women return significantly more of their wealth than men.

Empirical models of discrete strategic choices
Article Abstract:
The applications of game theory-based, multiple-agent qualitative-response models in examining the behavior of economic agents are evaluated using previous studies conducted by Bjorn and Vuong (1984), Bresnahan and Reiss (1987, 1991), and Berry (1992). The advantages provided by the model are mitigated by the model's limitations for real-world applications and the possibility of misspecification.
