Using an "interactive multimedia" presentation in economic development marketing
Article Abstract:
The Mount Rogers Development Partnership of Virginia Inc. has taken the use of computer technology for economic development marketing further by developing an interactive multimedia marketing program. The partnership, which represents two cities and six counties, started its marketing efforts in 1990. Each staff member has a desktop computer in the partnership's office, while portable computers are available for client presentations, fundraising activities, board meetings and marketing trips. The interactive multimedia program may be quickly modified depending on the needs of prospective clients.
