What the citizens of Central Utah know about economic development
Article Abstract:
Community leaders and economic developers can gain the support of the local populace for their economic programs by understanding what the citizens know about economic development and how they assess the relevance of economic development programs to their own goals and objectives. To help community leaders and economic development professionals gain insight into these issues, Snow University surveyed Central Utah residents to determine their understanding and knowledge of economic development. The results are discussed.

Winning the economic development marketing game
Article Abstract:
Economic development marketing involves numerous techniques and strategies. These techniques were rated by corporate executives who consider these techniques to be superior in attracting investments to an area. These include planned visits to corporations and executives who have relocated to an area, hosting special events and trade shows. These could be augmented by reliable information sources on business climates such as using dialogues with industry peers.
