The Russians are waiting before resuming talks on arms control to see if demonstrations will block the deployment of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) missiles in Europe, Russia has missiles in place to hit every major European target. NATO does not have every Soviet target covered yet, but more missiles are coming. A map shows the Soviet's reach.

The Anti-Nuclear Movement Wonders How to Stay Airborne
Article Abstract:
Although quiet, the anti-nuclear movement in Western Europe is still around. There will be a strategic planning meeting in February 1984. West Germany and Great Britain show the trends for the movement. There is still opposition against Euromissiles. The movement loses ground when East-West relations improve.
