Why have the returns to technical analysis decreased?
Article Abstract:
The hypothesis that a structural change in futures price fluctuations affects the profitability of managed futures and technical analysis is tested using bootstrap re-sampling techniques. The results show that structural changes, like decrease in price volatility, may be the cause of the decreased returns.
