A paying audience
Article Abstract:
It has been proposed that some 25% of tutors' yearly pay increase could be based on evaluations by students, and while this may produce valuable data, it is questionable when students will provide an impartial judgement. Students' views of their tutors may depend on the tutor's character rather than the way lectures are conducted, and inefficient but friendly tutors may be regarded with affection by their students and score more points than the tutor that provides a helpful learning environment.

Universal picture
Article Abstract:
Cosmologists are aiming to study the beginning of the solar system before Darwin's 'simple beginning', back to the so-called 'big bang'. There have been several boosts for the case for the 'big bang' such as the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) satellite. Cosmic history can be split into the first millisecond spanning 40 decades of logarithmic time, and millisecond to around a million years where relevent physics is based on laboratory tests and theory corroborated by quantitative evidence.
