Alienated voters: are the media to blame?

Media's usually negative comments are much to blame for why Americans know or show little interest in government and public affairs. Voter turnout remains low despite active propaganda for political participation. Greater involvement can curtail the corrupt practices by political machines.

Keeping the press objective: reflections of an ombudsman
Article Abstract:
Ombudsmen and members of the press in the US have an obligation to deliver objective and unbiased reporting of socio-political events in the country. A delicate balance has to be achieved between expressing certain ideas and beliefs and reporting accurate and untainted information.
