Back to Nietzsche
Article Abstract:
As his 150th anniversary will be celebrated in 1994 the reputation of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche is being re-evaluated. His views on women and Jews were controversial, as was the adoption of some of his theories by the Nazis. Nietzsche was viewed as a romantic by some observers, and also as being anti-socialism. His ideas have also been linked with post-modernism and existentialism by some observers.
