Business is booming for courses with a conscience

At a time when America is in the hands of a pro-business, anti-environment president, US business schools are experiencing a rising demand for courses in corporate social responsibility (CSR). An increasing number of business students are determined to use their business knowledge and experience to help preserve the environment and increase social responsibility.

Reality check for American dream
Article Abstract:
Affirmative action has been challenged in courts and policy-making. In the field of higher education, the policy was successful in bringing more minorities to colleges and universities, but court decisions make the rules and regulations confusing for administrators. Alternatives under consideration do not seem as promising.

Rebuilding Khmer after the Rouge

The Centre for Khmer Studies, established earlier in 2001 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, aims to rebuild the country's higher education system. Strong emphasis is being placed on international collaboration, thus ending Cambodia's isolation.
