Electronic Teaching: After Computer Literacy
Article Abstract:
Schools across the country are teaching computer literacy courses for elementary programming. Beyond this first course what type of program should be offered? An intermediate level computer course should be offered to teach students the process of program design and production. A plan for this program design course is discussed.

Electronic Teaching: Simulations
Article Abstract:
Simulations have proven to be valuable skill building tools in computer education. Through working with a simulated design in programming, students are found to be encouraged in the areas of background research, problem solving skills, and programming in general.

Robots in the Classroom
Article Abstract:
Personal robots are appearing in the classrooms across the United States. Several examples of a robot's use are given. Five personal robots are reviewed and evaluated. They are HERO 1, RB5X, The Tasman Turtle, TOPO, and Rhino. The photographs show the robots.
