An analysis of the average salaries among full-time academic staff at universities in the UK during 2002-2003. London Business school tops the listing with an average wage of UKPd99,524, while Glasgow Caledonian comes at the bottom of the table with an average salary of UKPd28,654.

Women suffer UKPd5K pay gap
Article Abstract:
Women earn up to 25% less than men at some universities in the UK, despite having taken the majority of recent promotions, according to new figures. In the university sector as a whole, women earn on average UKPd30,500/yr, over UKPd5,000 less than the average for men.
