For better results add some TQM
Article Abstract:
The principles of teamwork and common goals of Total Quality Management (TQM) are effective for the production of well-educated students capable of a professional life of learning and work. Though TQM promotes cooperation, it shields the individuality of different career programs. TQM teams need to emphasize vocational education with a minimum of 50% vocational educator participation, to avoid total focus on academic education. Vocational and academic educators need to maintain constant communication to ensure total participation.

Today's "trade and industrial" revolution
Article Abstract:
Downsizing has occurred in trade and industrial (T&I) education programs. The T&I educators depend on a strong tradition of delivering high-grade workers and on technology to help them effect change in their programs. As such, they need to emphasize more teaching foundation skills and revising the programs frequently. They also need to keep pace with market demands and coordinate with other groups within T&I. Further, educators need to clarify their educational philosophy and present an honest view of the workplace to students.
