Law courses set for radical shake-up
Article Abstract:
The traditional three-year law degree course in the United Kingdom could be phased out under radical Law Society plans for the restructuring of legal education. Under the society's new training framework, which is currently out for consultation, the vocational year that is required to qualify as a barrister of solicitor would be included in undergraduate law degrees, making the course a four-year degree and doing away with the need to do a separate legal practice course.
