From Stalinism to multiculturalism: political correctness and American academe
Article Abstract:
The political correctness movement in the 1990s is the second such movement in US history. A similar movement occurred in the 1930s and 1940s through the efforts of Stalinists to control the American academe. Recognizing the difference between these periods is important in re-making liberal education.

The modern western identity: its fit in world politics

Majority of the world's citizens will soon be patronizing Western inventions of science, capitalism and liberal democracy as the 21st century is predicted to be a whole new democratic and capitalist era. Optimists are even strongly convinced that the West is becoming a universal civilization.
