Has postmodernism killed social science?
Article Abstract:
Edward Soja, geographer, argues that postmodernism has provided him with possibilities for the study of his subject that traditional theories missed. Soja is one of the participants in the Times Higher roundtable debate "Have Postmodernism and Social Theory Destroyed Social Sciences? " which is to take place in the Hong Kong Theatre, LSE, at 6.30pm on 18 October 2004.

A biography of philosopher Jeremy Bentham in the light of the return of his remains to display at University College London. Bentham, who died in 1832, bequeathed 200 boxes of his papers and his body to UCL.
