Pristina thanks EU for its revival
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the financial help offered by the European Union to the Kosovo university Pristina for reconstruction are discussed. Particular attention is given to ways in which the funding was aimed at improving the studying conditions in the university.

IT beats health to get the biggest slice of revised FP7 budget

In the rewritten European Union Seventh Framework Programme, information technology (IT) will get 16.7 percent of the overall budget, followed by health with 11 percent, according to European Commission papers passed to The Times Higher. Transport will get 7.6 percent of the overall budget and nanotechnologies/materials/manufacturing will get 6.3 percent.
