International law and democracy: are they compatible?
Article Abstract:
The debate whether the international constitutional law is a threat to democracy and to the expectations of global democratic politics is presented. American or democratic national constitutionalism regards constitutional law as the embodiment of a particular nation's democratically self-given legal and political commitments. U.S. by championing multilateralism on the economic front and unilateralism on rest of the fronts plays a contradictory role on the international stage.

Global communitarianism: An alternative route
Article Abstract:
The trend to democracy needs to be strengthened throughout the world and the United States is particularly well fitted to perform that role. For enhancing the role of American and international leadership, all nuclear weapons in the world must be eliminated, which should be supplemented by the establishment of a national voluntary Civilian Conservation Corps of young men and women coupled with new education incentives.
