Article Abstract:
An analysis of the state of the arguments surrounding the issue of animal experimentation. It is contended that the arguments need to be expanded beyond the use of animals in medical research and that the if we are to better understand the animals themselves, how they developed and their welfare, then some level of experimentation will have to continue.
